JAYNE HOLLAND

Operations Manager

On leaving school I studied Business before joining the CBI Scottish Office in Glasgow. In this role I supported the Scottish Director, working with business leaders and Government offices. The CBI, often referred to as the Employers Union, offered a 360 insight into business, trade unions and the Government, this building a solid foundation to progress from.

Two years later I was offered a position, joining TMC (Theatrical Management Corporation) in Newcastle upon Tyne, initially in administrating, business development and accounting roles.

In the years that followed, opportunities arose within venue and artiste client management, arranging entertainment at venues throughout the UK and Europe. Managing the agency clients' engagements also falling within this role. Remaining actively involved with accounting and overseeing the administration, I was offered a shareholding and directorship of the company.

Noticing a gap within the Expatriate market presented another obvious opportunity to create an international arm. This involved creating a client base, sourcing venues within the gulf states and far east, touring cabaret shows with top of the bill and supporting acts, travelling extensively over these years, until the arrival of my daughter Maxine, followed shortly after by Natasha.

During my travels Corporate Event Management also presented an opportunity to work with both national and international companies.

The family businesses followed, whilst also maintaining the connection with my corporate clients. Combining corporate contracts around the business commitments and my young family, Maxine and Natasha often travelling with or joining me on location.

From 2016 until joining Wentworth Grange in 2026 I worked within Estate Agency in business development and management roles, personally gaining national awards and, regional and national awards for the company.

It is indeed an honour and privilege to join Wentworth Grange. I look forward to working with this dedicated team as we build upon the already outstanding standard of care in our pursuit for excellence. As Operations Manager I will oversee the day-to-day running of the departments. With Quality Control firmly at the heart of our mission I will be working closely with our Administration, Nursing Team, Personal Carers, House Keeping, Events Manager, Restaurant and Kitchen in order that we all, as a Team, ensure that the guests wellbeing, safety, happiness and dignity remains firmly at the forefront of our service.

When in down time, I enjoy the company of my family, friends and dog Mitzi . Additionally, I enjoy cooking, walking, travelling, racket sports, fundraising and reading.

PINNER RANA

Human Resources

I have enjoyed 30 years of Police Service, initially in West Yorkshire then joining Northumbria Police on promotion in 1999.

During my career I worked in different departments and managed teams across various sectors of policing from response teams, custody and neighbourhood. I was promoted to the role of Neighbourhood Inspector for the West End of Newcastle with responsibility for crime and disorder, receiving an award of Excellence in recognition of my work with communities and multi-agencies partners.

I have had responsibility for overseeing crime investigations to more complex investigations during my time as a supervisor. My work also involved dealing with professional standards matters, complaints against police officers and managing staff discipline issues.

I then moved to Motor Patrols and qualified as a Senior Investigator Officer with responsibility for investigating serious and fatal road traffic collisions.

My career achievements have been recognised through numerous commendations and awards both with Northumbria Police and at   national levels. The highlight was 2015, when I was honoured receiving a Crown Court Judge’s commendation together with a Chief Constable’s commendation for averting a terrorist plot in Newcastle.

Although I have retired as a police officer my passion for road safety is still very much alive as I continue to serve in a volunteer role as the Road Safety Coordinator for Northumbria Police.

I feel extremely grateful and privileged to be a part of the team at Wentworth Grange and I am looking forward to building upon the excellent work and high standards of care that have already been established.  I am particularly enthusiastic about getting to know each of the guests and staff over the coming months, understanding their individual needs and experiences to create a warm, safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, respected and well supported.

Please don’t hesitate to stop and talk to me as you see me around the Grange.
