Typical working days are 0800 - 1700, to include weekends, with set days off.

Role responsibilities:
Reporting in to the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Preparing, cooking and serving, fresh, local produce to an extremely high standard.
Supporting fellow team members.
Contributing and adapting to day-to-day events as they unfold.
Adhering to set food safety systems.
Assisting with the management of health and safety.
Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
About You:
Demonstrate a professional and corporate outlook.
Have a kind and friendly manner.
Have outstanding attention to detail.
Are a self-starter capable of working on routine tasks with minimum supervision.
Have a consistent high level of performance, even when under pressure.
Be organised and methodical with the ability to adapt and flex when required.
Requirements / Qualifications / Experience:
2 year’s minimum experience in a similar role within a quality hotel or restaurant
Food Hygiene certificate
DBS
NVQ Level 2 or higher
Own Transport (preferable)

We are currently recruiting a Waiter/Waitress for a 5* residential hotel for the elderly in the Northumberland area.
This hotel is unique in its offering, in that it is a luxury residential retreat for elderly guests. A real high end establishment offering only the very best in food, surroundings and leisure. The hotel houses 30 guests at one time so it retains a familiar and intimate environment. They have recently invested even further into the hotel by extending and improving the kitchens and dining experience. Its a real wow when you see the space.
Role responsibilities:
To be a friendly, polite, and a professional welcoming host.
Greeting guests and making them comfortable at their table
Advising guests of menu options
Serving meals/drinks
Making sure restaurant is clean and tidy at all times
About You:
Demonstrate a professional and corporate outlook.
Be kind and friendly manner.
Requirements / Qualifications / Experience:
Hold a enhanced DBS certification.
Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Restaurant Manager – Restaurant Talia

Restaurant Talia is based within Wentworth Grange for the Elderly in Riding Mill and is entering an exciting new chapter with a planned refurbishment and relaunch.
Role responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading the day-to-day running of Restaurant Talia, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
Creating and maintaining a welcoming and engaging dining environment for residents and guests.
Managing and supporting the restaurant team, including line management responsibilities.
Working closely with the Deputy Restaurant Manager and Events Manager.
Contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience and resident engagement.
Overseeing stock control, ordering, and cost management.
Supporting the delivery of events and special occasions.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards.
Adapting to day-to-day operations and service requirements.
About You:

Requirements / Qualifications / Experience:
Previous experience in a similar Restaurant Manager role.
Experience in staff management and line management.
Strong knowledge of stock control and cost management.
Food Hygiene certificate.
DBS.
NVQ Level 2 or higher or equivalent (preferred).
Own transport (preferable).
